Thermal Mud
Precious natural care
This precious natural care is made of clay, water from the Euganean thermal basin and micro-organisms.
Mud comes from the small lakes located in Arquà Petrarca in the heart of the Euganean Hills (a few kilometres away from the Hotel Terme Millepini); it is immersed in special tanks with thermal water at a temperature of 60°C and is constantly exposed to the sun for about 6-7 months.
This is the process for the maturation of thermal mud. Clay modifies its chemical and physical characteristics and increases its plasticity and its heat retention index while becoming suitable for the development of microalgae (diatoms and cyanophyceae) belonging to the eco-system of the Euganean Thermal Basin. Algae products glycolipid substances with a strong anti-inflammatory and pain-killing activity that has no side effect even after several treatments.
