Allianz Assicurazioni “Booking Protection” is an insurance policy for hotel accomodation that can be purchased during the online reservation process. From the moment in which you receive the confirmation of your reservation, you can insure the paid amount within the following 24 hours

What kinds of policies are available?

The available policies are:

1. Booking Protection (it provides for the refund of the contractually-determined penalty for the cancellation of the stay due to: illness, injury or death of the policyholder or one of his/her relatives; impossibility of reaching the structure because of an accident damaging the vehicle during the journey to the hotel or because of unfavourable weather conditions; impossibility of benefiting from the planned vacation) ;  
2. Booking Protection Plus (in addition to the insurance cover guaranteed by “Booking Protection”, this policy covers the medical costs of the stay, ensuring: telephone medical consultancy for medical information and/or advice; free home visit by a doctor; transport to equipped facilities and health-related return to the residence of the policyholder; nursing assistance by the residence of the policyholder).
