Ninfea Grotto

An ancient practice

The tradition of steam baths, like thermal baths, goes back a long way; the ancient Romans had already known the benefits.

Ninfea Grotto

This room at the Hotel Terme Millepini was recreated precisely by taking inspiration from the rooms of the Roman baths, which divided the steam baths into three areas: Calidarium, Tepidarium and Frigidarium placed in succession, and led the person through a path of wellness using the sequential use of steam, lukewarm water and cold water

The use of Euganean thermal water exploits the natural heat of the water at 80°C at source and increases the benefits due to its precious physical and chemical characteristics, rich in trace elements such as sodium-bromide-iodine.

To get the best benefits from the wellness path in the Grotta Ninfea, we suggest you do it this way:

  • Spend a few minutes in the Tepidarium to let your body get used to the temperature;
  • Enter the Calidarium for about 10-15 minutes. Rinse the seat before sitting down and before leaving;
  • Refresh yourself by taking a shower in the Tepidarium. Simply press the button to activate the emotional showers with aromatherapy;
  • Take a whirlpool bath by sitting in one of the round jacuzzis.

Access to the Grotto is not recommended under 12 years of age. Access is permitted in a swimming costume or by covering yourself with a towel, but not naked.

Before and after using the Ninfea Grotto, it is important to drink water.
